Hi there! I'm Mafalda, a graduated from the Masters in Informatics and Computing Engineering (MIEIC) by the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP). Ever since I was a little girl that I've been in love with technology and innovation. Nowadays, I have special interest in the areas of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Web Development. Also passionate about mathematics, sports, traveling and photography.

Currently, I'm a Ph.D. Candidate in the Doctoral Program in Informatics Engineering (ProDEI), and an Invited Lecturer at FEUP. I'm also a researcher at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC-TEC), working in the area of healthcare, by applying Machine/Deep Learning techniques to support the diagnosis of certain diseases, such as cancer.
