WHAT IT DOES

Most people paying for private health insurance don't know what it actually gives them for free. Insurely fixes that. It starts from official Portuguese health guidelines (DGS, SNS screening programmes) to work out which checks you should have, based on your age and sex. Then it reads your insurance policy and shows where each one is free, fixed price, or already part of your insurer's yearly check-up. Upload your policy PDF and it sorts your checks into official, guideline, and already covered but not needed yet. For each one, it finds nearby clinics that perform it, with opening hours, so you go straight from "you're due for this" to "here's where and when."

WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE

Insurance policies are written for lawyers, not patients. Insurely reads yours for you. It combines three sources that normally never meet: national screening guidelines, the insurer's own check-up brochure, and your actual policy certificate. Every number it shows comes with the exact quote and page it was pulled from.

ROLE OF AI

An LLM reads the uploaded policy PDF and pulls out coverage details (services, copays, limits, waiting periods) into a fixed set of categories, so they can be matched and calculated in code instead of staying as loose text. A second LLM call handles clinic search, finding providers for a given check with location and opening hours. The matching against health guidelines and all cost math happen in code, not the LLM, so the numbers stay accurate and traceable.
