I regularly attend tech talks and industry meetups, and I’m one of the founders of my company’s AI workshop series. What I remember most after a good event is often a conversation with someone I’d like to meet again. I built Afterglow because I want those moments to become lasting community connections.
Afterglow lets people share what they genuinely thought about events across tech, arts, sports and social activities. Quick tags and an editable AI draft make it easier to contribute. Reviews can help others choose where to go, while taste cards, helpful reactions and recommendations grounded in what people wrote give contributors a way to be seen and find people with shared interests.
I built and published the prototype with Lovable at AI Hacker House in Lisbon, then refined it as people here tried it. Today’s hackathon is its first real community event. Fictional examples are clearly labelled and kept separate from real reviews.
