Evidence is scattered across screenshots, PDFs, and private drives. Consent is captured informally and not linked to the exact trial step where it matters. Funding in $LIVES moves faster than the proofs that justify it, so sponsors and clinics struggle to show verifiable impact on short time scales. Mentors, judges, and partners can’t reliably trace what was done, by whom, in what order, using which instruments and parameters. The result is hesitation, duplicated effort, and avoidable risk—precisely when Infinita’s advantage is supposed to be speed with accountability.
Infinita Science Hub supplies the missing trust fabric. It turns each study into a structured, auditable flow on a canvas built for science rather than documents. Researchers compose protocols as interactive blocks that correspond to real evidence and procedure: Image for physical steps and authenticity proofs, including photos of devices on participants in Infinita, scanned lab notes, and workstation screenshots that prove data processing; Audio for consent readouts, instrument sound profiles, and narrated procedures; Video for live captures of setup and runs or screen recordings of analysis pipelines; Reference for citable sources with structured metadata; and Text for rich Markdown that documents methods, parameters, observations, tables, and equations. Each block is time-stamped and hashed. Edits are versioned. Blocks snap into a clear sequence so provenance is transparent. Forking preserves lineage. Citing pulls normalized metadata into the graph. Licensing and funding are first-class and visible, so grants and donations bind to explicit milestones instead of vague deliverables.
An AI Checker enforces integrity before anything is allowed on-chain. It runs first at the block level, scoring completeness and coherence, catching red flags such as missing calibration photos in Image, sample count mismatches between Text and attached data, clipped Audio for consent, or Video metadata that contradicts declared capture settings. It extracts and aligns entities—assay, organism, reagent, instrument, software version—so the flow remains internally consistent. It generates reviewer-style method summaries, BibTeX drafts from References, and inserts IRB/consent hints exactly at the steps where they apply. After block checks pass, the AI Checker evaluates the entire project graph. It verifies step ordering, detects protocol drift between declared Methods and Data Capture, inspects statistical claims for common pitfalls, and performs embeddings-based similarity search against the Hub’s indexed corpus and the team’s own activity trail. It then issues a final originality verdict that explains whether the work appears genuinely original relative to prior art and to what was actually executed on the canvas, with links to overlapping nodes and suggested disambiguations. Only projects that pass this composite review can be registered on-chain, which seals a signed manifest of the ordered blocks, their hashes and timestamps, and the AI Checker summary.
This directly delivers the Verification & Audit Trails for Science outcomes that Infinita needs now. Experiment logs are created as ordered, time-stamped manifests that are ready to pin to IPFS or Arweave so “every experiment is provable forever.” Smart-contract escrow can be tied to milestone proofs emitted by the canvas, allowing $LIVES or USDC to release only when predefined evidence exists. Proof-of-authorship can mint as NFTs or SBTs and surface as non-editable badges in the UI. Consent becomes auditable because it is captured in Audio or Video and bound to the exact protocol step it authorizes, not buried in a folder.
For Infinita City’s real-world operations, this changes the day-to-day. Clinics and labs can show funders exactly which steps were performed, when, by whom, with what data, and under what consent. All chain adapters live behind clean interfaces so protocols can evolve without rewrites.
