🧠 Project Name
HyperLiquid Ecosystem MCP Server (hl-eco-mcp)
🔍 Description
A community-driven Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that transforms the HyperLiquid ecosystem into AI-accessible tools. Any DeFi protocol can contribute their API via simple JSON definitions that automatically become MCP tools for AI agents. Features complete HyperLiquid trading integration, smart execution algorithms, risk management, and a revolutionary community protocol system that requires zero code to add new integrations.
🛠️ How It Works
The server operates on a dual-layer architecture: Built-in HyperLiquid Integration providing professional trading tools (orders, risk management, market intelligence, TWAP/VWAP execution) and a Community Protocol System that automatically generates MCP tools from JSON protocol definitions.
Key Innovation: Community contributors simply submit a JSON file describing their API endpoints, and the server automatically generates fully-functional MCP tools that AI agents can use immediately. This enables exponential ecosystem growth without requiring core development.
Technical Highlights:
- Automatic Tool Generation: JSON → MCP tools pipeline with validation and security
- Professional Trading Suite: Complete HyperLiquid integration with advanced execution algorithms
- Type-Safe Architecture: Full TypeScript with Zod validation and structured error handling
- AI-Native Design: Purpose-built for AI agents and clients like Cursor, Claude and MCP-enabled applications
- Community Validation: Automated PR workflow with protocol validation and security checks

Impact: This project solves the ecosystem fragmentation
problem where each protocol needs custom MCP server
development. Instead, any protocol can now become
AI-accessible through a simple JSON contribution,
creating a network effect where the ecosystem grows
exponentially as more protocols participate.
