Problem Statement
The Hyperliquid ecosystem lacks a centralized, transparent coordination hub for bounties. Currently, tasks are scattered across chats and forums, payouts are slow/manual, and contributors have no verified reputation system. This slows ecosystem growth and discourages potential builders.
Concept Overview
HyperTask is an open-source bounty platform for Hyperliquid, allowing anyone to post tasks, reward contributors in $HYPE, and manage submissions in one centralized location. It starts with manual payouts and evolves into fully trustless, on-chain automation via HyperEVM smart contracts, turning $HYPE into the fuel for decentralized community building.
Implementation Plan
MVP (Hackathon) – Bounty posting, wallet login, submission handling, manual payouts.
Phase 2 – Automated backend workflows, submission scoring, notifications.
Phase 3 – On-chain HyperEVM payout automation, reputation system, leaderboard.
Challenges:
Adoption → Mitigate with built-in ecosystem-wide promotion + HLNames integration.
Trust → Start with admin oversight before moving to trustless smart contracts.
User Impact
For contributors: a single platform to discover, complete, and earn from bounties. For bounty posters, a streamlined way to launch ecosystem-boosting tasks with confidence payouts will ensure timely and verifiable payouts. For Hyperliquid: a scalable Public Good that incentivizes more builders, tools, and cultural projects, multiplying growth without centralized coordination.
Innovation:
Bridges off-chain bounty coordination into fully on-chain trustless automation.
Public Goods-aligned: open source, reusable by any Hyperliquid project.
Built-in reputation & leaderboard fosters healthy competition.
Key Features:
Bounty posting & tagging
Wallet-linked submissions
Notifications for updates & rewards
Reputation system with badges & leaderboards (future)
