Ever felt overwhelmed and unmotivated while studying? 📚😫 We did too! That's why we created Study-Farm, transforming the tedious grind into an exciting adventure! 🌾🌈

Inspired by the captivating world of video games 🎮, we integrated gaming elements—characters, missions, and rewards—into study routines. Our goal is to make learning enjoyable and engaging! 🌟

What it Does (project description)

Study-Farm transforms studying into an engaging adventure! Keep track of your progress and stay motivated as your farm flourishes with your achievements.

• Input course information: Add details about your deadlines, exams, and quizzes.
• Custom Schedule Planning: Organize your tasks efficiently.
• AI-generated daily missions: Manage your time better with personalized study plans.

Farm Page 🐾🌟

• Interactive Progress: Each completed task prompts delightful reactions from your animals, reflecting your progress.
• Encouraging Chats: Chat with your farm animals for encouragement and tips, making studying interactive and fun.

How We Built It (list technologies) 

Our team (Benny, Bill, Fiona), passionate about both education and technology, decided to bring this vision to life using React Native, Express, and MongoDB. We also included Expo Router for seamless navigation and Figma for intuitive design.

To enhance our backend, we integrated MongoDB with the Neurelo platform and used Neurelo REST APIs to customize task queries. Additionally, we leveraged the Neurelo CLI to automate functional tests for the app, ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience. 🚀💡

We also utilized the newly-released GPT-4o model to optimize the users’ schedule and provide interactive elements such as Bessie the Cow, Talon the Hawk, and Gabby the GOose.
