Eduken - Your Smart Education Companion 

Eduken is an innovative AI-powered educational platform that aims to enhance learning experiences.  Utilizing BOS Platform of NEAR Protocol for scalability and Neurelo for managing the libraries, courses and certifications, Eduken presents personalized learning paths, robust interactive lessons and secure data management for learners of all levels.

Inspiration:

 The inspiration behind Eduken stemmed from a personal experience of one of our team members. They encountered the necessity to obtain certifications before being permitted to conduct research papers in their field. This experience sparked the idea of creating a verification platform for storing NFT versions of certificates. Simultaneously, there was a consideration of the potential of e-learning platforms. The merging of these two concepts gave rise to the inception of Eduken.The inspiration behind Eduken stemmed from a personal experience of one of our team members.  What it Does: 

Eduken's specialized courses and certifications, designed for various industries including defense, offer a unique advantage for companies seeking to upskill their workforce. By providing in-depth, industry-relevant content, Eduken ensures that employees gain the necessary knowledge and expertise to excel in their roles. With certifications backed by reputable institutions, companies can trust that their employees' skills are credible and authentic, contributing to enhanced performance and productivity.

Moreover, Eduken's smart contract-based certificate storage system simplifies the verification process for companies. Employers can effortlessly verify the credentials of their staff, ensuring that they possess the required qualifications for specific tasks or projects. This streamlined verification process not only saves time and resources but also instills confidence in the capabilities of the workforce. Ultimately, by leveraging Eduken's platform, companies can cultivate a skilled and knowledgeable workforce, driving innovation, and success in their respective industries.

How We Built It:

The Eduken platform is a web 3-application built on the NEAR Protocol's Blockchain Operating System (BOS).

• Frontend development: utilised React and TypeScript for a dynamic and responsive user interface.
• AI Integration- Integrated NEAR AI LLM for personalized user suggestions and assistance.
• API Key Generation -Utilized Neurelo for secure API key generation to facilitate seamless communication.
• Backend Development  - Used Django for core functionalities such as user authentication and data management. 

Challenges We Ran Into: 

During the development, we found ourselves in a multitude of circumstances that required us finding creative solutions to various problems and demonstrating resilience. The idea stage was a challenge at the beginning as we had no access to much knowledge regarding blockchain and what we could do with it since it has to be in line with our project goals. Also, building and integrating different languages and platforms into our project became another major obstacle we had to deal with, especially since we were inexperienced with using those tools in just 36 hours.

While we discovered that there were many issues with our process we identified that one of the most long-term challenges arose from our use of Neurelo for API generation with original errors that often caused a delay and required troubleshooting. But the team was also having problems when understanding other programmers' languages and this made the code more unstable and complicated, and it was a new source of problem. Though the team was facing challenges; but we continued being strong and steadfast to overcome these obstacles. In fact, we had very little experience about Near blockchain when we started as it confused us and seemed so intimidating but eventually, we conquered that ignorance and learnt more about it. During a journey full of obstacles, we fought each obstacle at a time and became better than before by being more skilful, more open to communication, and we gained more knowledge and experience as a reward.

 Accomplishments That We're Proud Of:

• We were able to make it a fun experience for the team.
• We learned how to use new technologies and working in sprints
• We improved our technical skills and knowledge 
• We also finished our backend in a day
• We made new friends.  

What We Learned:

 The lessons that we go from working with Eduken made us enlightened, especially in the sphere of  blockchain, AI- based tutorials, and data safety. Also using new tools like Neurelo and reading about Avalanche. Also, that regardless of background or race we were able to have a nice bonding experience and actually think beyond the hackathon to keep in touch and build cool stuffs together.

## What's Next?

Looking ahead, our next steps involve pitching the idea to companies such as NEAR or Avalanche to gain insights into scalability and product market fit for our platform. By engaging with industry leaders and experts, we aim to refine our concept further and ensure its alignment with market needs and trends. 

For us, this project marks just the beginning of what we envision as an exciting and fruitful partnership. We are eager to explore opportunities for collaboration and growth, leveraging the expertise and resources of potential partners to drive the success and expansion of our platform.
