Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project came from the challenges small and medium-sized businesses face in managing customer rewards programs. Traditional systems are often costly and complicated, leading to underutilization. We wanted to harness the power of blockchain technology to create an efficient, transparent, and user-friendly solution that empowers businesses and enhances customer experience.

What it Does

Our app offers a comprehensive platform for coupon and loyalty rewards management. It has three main branches:

1. Business Dashboard: Provides businesses with an overview of customers' NFT-based coupons and their transaction history for loyalty points.

2. Coupon Redeem: Helps users redeem coupons and securely store them in their Mintbase wallet.

3. AI App: Curates personalized suggestions for local businesses based on user interests, driving engagement and sales.

How We Built It

We built the app using the NEAR blockchain for secure and transparent transactions. The frontend was developed with React for a responsive and interactive user interface. The backend integrates with the Mintbase API to handle NFT coupon minting and storage. We also implemented machine learning algorithms to analyze user preferences and provide personalized business suggestions.

Challenges We Ran Into

We encountered several challenges during development:

- Blockchain Integration: Integrating the NEAR blockchain with our app required a steep learning curve and careful handling of security protocols.

- Scalability: Ensuring the app could handle a large number of users and transactions without performance degradation.

- AI Recommendations: Developing accurate and relevant AI-based suggestions for users was complex and required extensive data analysis.
