SATAIDS

A space-based solution for the defence of existing strategic orbital assets without needing modifications. A mothership equipped with tracking sensor arrays deploys and directs a formation of inflatable decoys in order to mask the defendent satellite from the active sensors of kinetic kill vehicles, and their design allows it to fend off active-radar, visual and IR seeking systems. The system is also thought out to be as affordable as possible, especially the disposable decoys.
