ATLAS-AI
High-Resilience inertial navigation system independent of GNSS
This project develops an autonomous navigation system capable of operating with high precision even without GPS signals. The technology combines a miniaturized atomic clock (CSAC) with inertial sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms to create an ultra-stable internal reference for time and motion.
Artificial intelligence continuously corrects sensor errors and optimizes position estimation, ensuring reliable performance under jamming, interference, or isolation conditions. The system can effectively “understand” its movement and orientation without relying on external signals.
Applications include autonomous vehicles, robotic systems, and critical infrastructure that must operate safely and continuously in challenging environments. The project demonstrates a new approach to precise navigation—powered by atomic timing and adaptive intelligence—that enables accurate and independent operation without GNSS dependency.
