Detonation cord (aka detcord) is a cheap solution that can be deployed on various location of the battlefield to target and sever the optical wire of fpv drones. By deploying it over large areas the intersection between the drone's fiber optic and the detcord will become almost inevitable. Remote detonation of the detcord segments at the right times and places will disable enemy drones and protect the defender troops and equipment. Deployment of the detcord segments can be done using UGVs and drone path estimations can be done using a fusion of radar and sensors including Ukraine's SkyFortess system. Special algorithms might be needed to determine detcord segment placement and detonations during drone incursions.
