BlindIR: Automatic visual detection of enemy drones with a non-lethal method of permanently disabling them - using a pulsing focused IR beam and visible laser pair to permanently damage and disable visual scanners used to remotely control or automatically manage the drone. The system can be portable and easily deployed in combat situations without an active operator and without risks of lethal misfire. It would be relatively low-cost and easily reusable through simply recharging it, or it can be mounted on vehicles for added mobility or on other emplacements for continued use, both with increased stability and disabling power.
