AVRAX Systems is developing a new class of miniaturized, AI-guided air-to-air missiles launched from reusable interceptor drones. Each missile is equipped with an onboard optical guidance system using reinforcement learning and real-time vision processing. This allows precise, autonomous interception of kamikaze drones without relying on GPS, radar, or external sensors, making the system highly resilient in contested environments. 

Kamikaze drones are now a dominant threat in modern warfare. They are cheap, widely available, and deployed in swarms to overwhelm defenses. Current countermeasures are either oversized (six-figure air-to-air missiles launched from fighter jets) or inefficient (disposable interceptor drones that can only neutralize one target). Both approaches are economically unsustainable and operationally limited against mass drone attacks. AVRAX Systems addresses this gap with reusable interception drones armed with miniaturized, AI-guided missiles. A single interceptor can neutralize multiple kamikaze drones per mission at a fraction of today’s cost.

The rapid rise of low-cost kamikaze drones creates an asymmetric cost problem: a drone costing only a few hundred dollars can force defenders to expend missiles worth hundreds of thousands. This imbalance makes current defense systems financially unsustainable for prolonged conflicts and for protecting critical infrastructure. AVRAX Systems solves this by enabling cost-per-intercept reduction by orders of magnitude.
