WebStrike

WebStrike is a compact, single-operator handheld net launcher that safely deploys a tethered net to entangle small unmanned aerial systems (UAS) — intended as a controlled, non-destructive option for last-resort drone interception. Designed for fast, intuitive use by one person, WebStrike targets lawful security, wildlife rescue/animal capture, and controlled tactical scenarios where disabling a drone without lethal force is required. The hackathon prototype will focus on ergonomics, reliable single-operator workflows, clear safety interlocks, and a simulated interception demonstration.
