Description

The close-range kamikaze drone neutralization system integrates a wide-angle camera, directional acoustic sensor arrays, and a computing unit into a single compact device. This architecture significantly simplifies installation and maintenance, allowing rapid deployment on strategic points such as masts, rooftops, or vehicles. Placement in key sectors of the airspace ensures optimal visibility and threat detection capabilities.

By leveraging sensor fusion of visual and acoustic data along with edge-AI algorithms, the system enables rapid detection and classification of objects, with a strong focus on low latency and minimizing false alarms. A top priority is the fast identification of kamikaze drones, while maintaining energy efficiency and reliable performance even under demanding operational conditions.

The response and neutralization mechanisms are currently in the conceptual stage, with strict emphasis on operational requirements and safety. Key design aspects include the option for a “soft-kill” mode instead of physical intervention, the ability to quickly disable a target within an interception zone, and built-in emergency procedures—such as operation cancellation and automatic detection of nearby personnel.
