Antugrow provides reliable onchain credit reputation for smallholder farmers in Africa by formalizing their harvest records via cooperatives.
Harvest records of smallholder farmers are mostly paper based and lack a formal standard that would qualify them as formal financial histories. As such most farmers are unable to access financing and credit facilities to grow their practices despite being worthy of financing.
Antugrow provides a platform for farmers to create verifiable anonymized historical data of their harvest records On-chain.
1. Antugrow applies decentralized identity to record verifiable data from cooperatives to open up seamless access to agricultural financing and credit by matching to DeFI liquidity pools.
2. Once onboarded, KYC is performed on a farmer's profile using their government issued identity to create their decentralized IDs that are hashed On-chain. These verified IDs are anonymized.
3. Using the farmer's historical data, Antugrow builds a reputation score based on streaming data, that farmers can rely on as proof of goodstanding when accessing lending or crowdfunding to grow their farming practices.
Antugrow seeks to grant African farmers greater economic agency by allowing use of decentralized identity to source affordable working capital from DeFi Liquidity Pools.
Step 1 - Farmer records are KYC'd using Vibranium ID to ascertain truthfulness.
Step 2 - Verified farmers are issued an anonymized V-ID that is backed on NEAR.
Step 3 - Cooperatives enter daily collection records on farmer profiles via their V-IDs.
Step 4 - Daily transactions per farmer are batched and published on BASE as per each farmer's V-ID.
Step 4b - Daily activity per farmer translates into UTU Trust Tokens to be used in proof of participation per farmer. The earned UTU Trust Tokens are issued to the farmer's profile.
Step 5 - Verified farmer profiles are listed with their BASE data to UTU's liquidity pool and graded per amount of UTU Trust Tokens earned over time.
Step 5b - Participants in the UTU network can now commit UTU Coin to preferred candidates and contribute financing to farmers as per their qualified threshold.
