kantina

kantina is a proof-of-concept miniapp for event spaces in base app.

core features are:

• chat between participants and the host in a separated xmtp context (no pollution of default base app chat environment)
• common chat board for all participants
• polls and prediction markets
• event photo sharing plus voting, and other fun interactions

hosts can create kantinas for meetups, workshops, etc. and share the link via QR code.

during registration, the mini app fetches the user's basename and generates a subdomain as basename.kantina.base.eth  
this is owned by the default base app wallet, but has a different address, hence a separate xmtp context can be implemented inside the mini app.

base app offers the frictionless possibility for hosts to create economies, and enhanced experiences for participants. ENS makes the environment possible to start with, while XMTP is at the heart of the interaction channel. kantina is a new take on how to make events truly interactive, and participants connected.
