ECCO

Web3 music faces three challenges today that we aim to address:

• NFT holders lack a single place to interact with their favorite artists.
• Musicians lack a singular space to build and maintain their community of NFT holders.
• Web3 musicians need more community, and the majority is in Web2; we need to onboard...

ECCO is a social-fi music app for mobile that allows easy listening and collecting of music because it reflects music NFTs from any platform.

ECCO users can comment without purchasing NFTs, but if they buy, they automatically join the exclusive group of the artist's holders, solving problem number one, as they can interact in a unique space with their favorite artist

This same group addresses problem number two, serving as the unique space where artists can interact with their holders, create dynamics, and keep their community of collectors active.

Finally, we solve problem number three by using technology that enables Web2 users to access the platform with their email and make purchases with credit cards, allowing them to use Web3 and blockchain without knowing it. This not only facilitates onboarding but also brings exponential growth to Web3 music, including all Web2 users.

The Graph

We are creating subgraphs with The Graph because this tool helps us gather data from marketplaces where artists have uploaded and will upload their music to display curated, multichain, and multiprotocol musical art content. The app functions as a social network where users can create "token-gated" private channels, comment, and collect without leaving the application. At the same time, we will implement push protocol so that fans can make comments and be notified about new releases.

To start testing Subgraphs we created and verified a new NFT contract in the Sepolia testnet. We created and deployed a Subgraph to index the new contract. Our front end will display the information indexed by the Subgraph for the token gating experiences of the users. The contracts indexed can be added in the future.

The token gated experience can be personalized in the future to have additional functionality.

Avalanche

We will use Avalanche as the base blockchain to record all on-chain user actions. Also, the Privy tool will allow users to create wallets through email registration and use credit cards for on-chain purchases without knowing they are using crypto (2.5 technology).
