Overview

GG Fund-1 is aimed at creating a comprehensive index of game-related tokens. By leveraging advanced DeFi mechanisms and blockchain technology, GG Fund-1 simplifies investment in the gaming token market, providing a diversified and efficient investment vehicle. The project initially deploys on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) with the ultimate goal of transitioning to Ethereum to leverage its rich ecosystem and EVM capabilities.

Technical Specifications

1. Pool Initialization: Assets Selection: Carefully curated game-related tokens based on market capitalization, liquidity, and industry relevance.

Weights Determination: Initial asset weights set for optimal index composition.

2. Adding Liquidity: Users can add assets to the pool and receive GG tokens in return, gaining exposure to the diversified index.

3. Removing Liquidity: Users can exchange GG tokens for the underlying pool assets, providing liquidity and flexibility.

4. Swapping Assets: Facilitates efficient asset swaps within the pool, enabling dynamic portfolio management.

5. Rebalancing Mechanism: Proposed automated rebalancing to maintain optimal asset allocation and reduce exposure to underperforming tokens.

6. Event Emissions: Ensures transparency by emitting events that provide real-time updates on transactions and changes within the pool.

Contracts Overview

addToken: Smart contract owner adds portfolio token address and its weight.

getLatestPrice: Returns the current price of the provided token address using data from PancakeSwap, quoted in BNB.

calculatePortfolioValue: Calculates the portfolio's value based on the latest token prices obtained via getLatestPrice.

tokenValue: Returns the current value of one token based on the user's portfolio value. Formula: result of calculatePortfolioValue divided by the user's current GG token balance.

stakeToken: Inputs: token address, amount. Sends the provided amount from the user's wallet to the GG smart contract and mints tokens equal to the provided amount multiplied by tokenValue.

claimToken: Inputs: token address, amount. Burns the provided amount multiplied by tokenValue and transfers the provided amount to the user’s wallet.

Hackathon Tracks

Ledger

GG Fund-1 aims to enhance security and functionality by integrating a multisignature setup requiring a Ledger hardware device. This integration will allow users to stake assets via the Ledger app, positioning GG Fund-1 at the hub of a comprehensive ecosystem where tokens are received, leveraged, and traded securely. With the product developed as a proof of concept, we can now expand the infrastructure to be used as a critical tool within the Ledger ecosystem. Our final product will feature Ledger as a key option for wallet connect, accompanied by an initial article on best practices for wallet security, highlighting Ledger's role in ensuring secure investments. Neon EVM

GG Fund-1 plans to bridge the gap between Ethereum and Solana by leveraging Neon EVM. Our approach includes creating baskets of tokens by wrapping Solana blue-chip game tokens on Ethereum and vice versa. This integration will utilize the ERC20forSPL token standard to issue GG tokens on the Solana blockchain, enabling seamless cross-chain functionality. This strategy not only enhances transaction efficiency and cost-effectiveness but also demonstrates our commitment to utilizing advanced blockchain technologies for a more interconnected DeFi ecosystem. BNB Chain

GG Fund-1 is initially deployed on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to leverage its fast transaction speeds and low fees, aligning with our goal of providing an efficient and cost-effective investment vehicle for game-related tokens. By integrating with BNB Chain, GG Fund-1 ensures broad compatibility and accessibility, fostering a diverse and inclusive ecosystem. Ethereum

Though GG Fund-1 is currently deployed on Binance Smart Chain, this setup serves as a proof of concept for our comprehensive vision. We plan to develop the full infrastructure on Ethereum, adding more Ethereum-based tokens to the basket and potentially weighting it with ETH or USDC. This foundational setup on Ethereum will act as the central hub, from which we will integrate additional baskets and issue GG tokens across Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Solana.
