ShizenGate is a private smart bridge built for the Tierra de Buidlers hackathon. It leverages cutting-edge cryptography and cross‑chain infrastructure to let users move assets privately between chains while automatically earning yield.

Key technologies we’re using:

• Zama for fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), enabling confidential deposits and withdrawals without revealing transaction details.
• Wormhole to handle cross‑chain messaging and liquidity transfers across supported networks.
• Scroll as the execution layer, providing a zkEVM-compatible environment with low fees and built‑in privacy features.
• Additional DeFi protocols (to be integrated) for sourcing the best APY on user deposits.

How it works:

1. A user deposits assets into ShizenGate through our portal. Their deposit amount and address are encrypted using Zama’s FHE.
2. The bridge uses Wormhole to relay the encrypted transaction to Scroll, where a smart contract executes the bridging logic.
3. The contract routes the assets to the chain with the highest available yield, allocating funds into yield‑bearing strategies.
4. Over time, the user accrues APY. When they withdraw, the bridge returns the original deposit plus yield, preserving privacy throughout.

Our goal is to demonstrate that DeFi can be private, cross‑chain, and easy to use. ShizenGate automates all the complexity: users simply choose their asset and desired yield strategy, and we handle the encryption, bridging, and strategy selection behind the scenes.
