A regular guy, geek, passioned with technology, gadgets and electronic stuff, e like to explore new stuff and try go always learn a bit more with everything where i'm involved.

A Open-Source model lover: Used to work with Linux and PHP with LAMP systems, a lot in the past and with them powered many apps, process approached systems in my personal projects and in my business department at the company.

Despite that, today due to my working areas i'm more familiar with more closed technologies, not so open ;) - professionally working as a developer using more Microsoft/Oracle technologies, but still using and loving open source.

With a passion for electronics since high school, i discovered and started to play around with Arduinos in Codebits 2011, done a project with it in that year and rediscover the magic of electronics now associated with programming. So i'd recover some chips and electronic pieces stored in the basement for about … ten years and back to electronics, but definetely playing with all this today is much more easy. Definitely a thing to keep going!

Passionated with web, and the great potential of it, specially with this little thing for the internet, so much used now.

Like to read, blog, social channels and keep me informed about all a bit, discover fantastic things!Have a cat, a dog, and now a son and i like to play a game called Ingress when i have opportunity (no i don't play Pokemon Go, not even have a great interest in it despite from being one of the firsts to try it).

Partipaded in Codebits 2011, registered to a project, and stay up all night long in 2nd day after sleeping 4 hours in 1st one to have it done for presentation. Met people, cool talks, and of course, eaten a Nuclear Taco. Worked during 2011 in a project with Sapo Labs related to Domotics, which was a very cool thing to do due to our participation.

Since then i've been participating in this events, and last year very glad for the return of the main conding event in Portugal with the new Pixels Camp branding. A event to see good talks, check neat stuff and of course try to develop some stuff too. Always a great opportunity to review some friends and know faces.
