Description

Ripcord is an evidence-based DeFi risk analysis tool that answers a question traditional security reviews often miss: what can a protocol’s authorised controllers do, and can users exit before they act?

Given a single contract address, Ripcord reconstructs the protocol’s control structure by identifying proxies, administrators, roles, multisigs and timelocks. It measures the shortest enforced notice across every discovered authority route and, for supported protocols, tests the result on a pinned mainnet fork.

Ripcord creates a real sandbox position, confirms that withdrawal works, executes the authorised pause action and repeats the identical withdrawal under matched conditions. This produces transaction-level evidence that an open exit can be closed without sending transactions to mainnet or using private keys.

Its optional Mobula layer discovers additional asset candidates. Ripcord independently verifies these onchain and runs supported per-asset fork experiments, while keeping live vendor data separate from the deterministic security verdict.
