Description

In North Macedonia one of the most influential and worrying problems is water pollution. Our goal is to slowly eradicate this problem using accurate tracking of water pollution and disaster risks. 

Copernicus provides us with hydrological and climate measurements, EGNOS provides the accuracy status of field GPS sensors, and Galileo provides positional errors and geometric parameters for calibration of monitoring equipment. 

We use: Open-Meteo / ERA5 + ECMWF(Copernicus), GloFAS v4 Global Flood Awareness System(Copernicus), EUREF Permanent Network (EPN)(Galileo), ESSP SAS NAGU Advisory Feed(EGNOS). We intend to use: Sentinel-2 L2A NDWI(Copernicus), SensorThings API in-situ sensors(EGNOS).

We intend to solve the disaster risk monitoring challenge and the tracking and preventing pollution challenge. Our solution provides valuable data which can be used to better protect and manage our water resources.
