💡Purpose:

The project aims to enhance the monitoring, prediction, and management of water pollution by integrating technology with community involvement. Water pollution, largely driven by industrial waste, plastic, agricultural chemicals, and urban runoff, poses a significant challenge, exacerbated by inadequate detection systems that often rely on slow, manual inspections without providing real-time data or predictive capabilities.

The main issue is inadequate management, characterized by slow monitoring systems that rely on manual inspections and lack real-time data. This fragmentation of information leads to late detection of pollution, necessitating reactive measures by authorities, while citizens are largely excluded from preventive efforts.


🧩Solution:

To tackle these issues, the project introduces a smart environmental platform utilizing satellite data, artificial intelligence, and user engagement. By prioritizing early detection and prediction, the system empowers authorities, organizations, and citizens to take proactive measures rather than reacting once pollution has already escalated. This proactive shift in environmental monitoring enables more effective responses to potential pollution events.

A key component of the solution is a mobile application featuring an interactive map for users to access pollution level information, report environmental issues, and engage in cleanup initiatives. The application's AI capabilities extend to analyzing images and satellite data to identify pollution sources and predict areas at high risk for contamination, with notifications provided to users for expected pollution events.

Huseyin Lush: Mobile Application Developer responsible for creating a responsive and user-friendly app using React Native. Key tasks included implementing core features like map integration, user interaction, and data display, while ensuring smooth functionality across devices.


🎨 UI/UX Designers

Dilara Mucait & Esra Bekir: Responsible for designing the overall look and user experience of the application. Created intuitive layouts, visual elements, and user flows to ensure ease of use. Focused on making the app visually appealing and accessible. Worked closely with the developer to align design with functionality.


💼 Business Model & Strategy Lead

Hiranur Menga: Developed the business model and overall financial strategy of the project. Researched sponsorship opportunities and ways to attract company partnerships. Focused on creating a sustainable and scalable revenue model. Ensured the project aligns with market needs and ESG opportunities.
