Description

💎 Idea

Anima Felix is an empathetic AI chatbot for WhatsApp, Discord, and iOS that detects signs of anxiety and stress through conversations and check-ins. During the hackathon, we integrated live Copernicus environmental data (air quality, solar radiation, UV) to contextualize wellbeing advice based on each user’s real-time location. The result: a mental health assistant that adapts its responses based on how the world around you might be affecting your mind.

🛰️ EU Space Technologies

We use data from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) — including PM2.5, ozone, and NO₂ — along with solar radiation and UV index from the CAMS Radiation Service (via Open-Meteo). This satellite-based environmental context is queried live and automatically injected into chat replies when users mention their location (e.g., “I’m in Bucharest”). This lets the chatbot respond with timely and personalized insights to improve mood, suggest coping tools, or recommend calming actions.

🩺 EU Space for Healthcare

We address the “Mental Health and Well-Being” challenge by:

  • Enabling users to better understand how environmental factors affect their emotional state

  • Delivering location-aware wellbeing support in real time

  • Encouraging proactive self-care through mood-aware conversations

This empowers people to take charge of their mental health, while reducing the burden on healthcare systems.
