WHAT’S TREEBLOCK:

TreeBlock is a technology company that contributes to reduce CO2 emissions by designing business parks, which act as autonomous power grids, thus promoting biodiversity.

We provide carbon-free areas to companies, which take the name of TreePark™, for the most energy-intensive businesses and extremely competitive spaces for reducing corporate costs.

The infrastructure on which our technology is based will allow continuous data collection in real time, allowing greater efficiency of the area.

Without forgetting to ensure maximum transparency, through the blockchain, during the planting process, to protect the territory and against the phenomenon of desertification.

We intend to take advantage of the digital tools that will be provided to us by the CASSINI Hackathon to use Geospatial information from Copernicus Earth observation data and its services. Without forgetting the satellite positioning and navigation services from Galileo & EGNOS.

-The infrastructure provided by the blockchain to ensure transparency during the planting process
-An automated calculator for calculating Co2 emissions
-A predictive system of meteorological events and data analysis for the efficiency of penetration of electricity into the network
-A research and development department for the production of electricity from alternative sources such as: PMFC's and the study relating to glowing plants.
-Introduction in the energy mix of a base load of electricity (biogas plant) and of a variable load of electricity given by photovoltaics combined with electrical energy storage systems.

We intend to include insurance plans to protect the TreeParkTM designed by companies, because a park consisting largely of trees and vegetation (90% - TreeParkTM Leaf | 65% - TreeParkTM) can be subject to unpleasant events such as fires or pests harmful to the vegetation.

STEFAN GRBOVIC, CEO:

Next to become Graduated in Physics at the University of Milan. I believe in multisciplinarity as a synonym of excellence and professional growth: over the years I have created two innovative startups and held key roles in two other equally innovative startups. I have an experience that varies from the environmental sector to the innovation and entertainment sectors

I have engaged in talks with institutional, national and international bodies, in order to enable a business strategy suitable for the launch of the TreeBlock startup.

I am also finalizing the creation of two patents: the first is an algorithm for calculating the carbon footprint and the second is a paradigm that allows the gradual transition of degraded areas to self-sufficient areas.


GIUSEPPE DE BERNARDO, COO: 

Graduating economics and global markets student from the University of Milan-Bicocca. Always passionate about innovation, In a few years I created several startups in different sectors including food-tech and the supply chain. My experience gained in the world of startups and entrepreneurship has resulted in TreeBlock, with the aim of being able to make my contribution to climate change. 


ALFREDO SERGIO DALLARI, CIO: 

IT expert nearing graduation with more than six years of work experience. I was in charge of the logistics chain management of a company that does freight forwarding internationally. Writing of software for document management for international shipments, warehouse management, tracking of goods at controlled temperatures. Routine maintenance server management. Relational database writing and coding.  Skills possessed: secure software design and development, relational database creation, coding, testing, linux server management, docker languages used typescript javascript (node.js, react.js) php (laravel) jQuery HTML, css Python C.


EMANUELE HUELLER, Ar|Artistic Director: 

An expert graphic designer  with a two year experince in London, ended September 2019, opened my mind to new skills and way of design. I started sharing my creativity with photography, graphic design, web design, video making and animation; since I came back to Milan I started studying Product and 3D design .I have a professional knowledge of Adobe softwares(as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Dimension, XD) and Blender, Sparks AR, Daz3D for 3D rendering.

Our flagship product for reducing CO2 and SMEs' business costs will be called TreeParkTM.

HOW DOES TreeBlock WORK?
- Any company can make a calculation, free of charge, of its CO2 emissions, using a calculation algorithm that involves the use of a progressive webapp to obtain a general overview of the emissions of any company.
-We offer two types of solutions to companies.
The first provides access to the "Leaf" TreePark, which is a co-managed self-sufficient park for small and medium-sized SMEs that do not have their own work areas and intend to reduce their management costs. The proposed business model are medium-long term rentals
The second provides access to the "Sunflower" TreePark, which is a self-sufficient park for medium to large SMEs that have their own work areas and intend to reduce their consumption. The proposed business model is an eco-franchise (ex. McDonald's)

- After choosing one of the two solutions, the user will be directed to a customized interface to finalize the chosen solution.

- Let's assume we have chosen the TreePark "Leaf" solution:
1.Calculate your company's CO2 emissions using our algorithm
2.Choose your degraded area to redevelop and start the planting process
3.Get your green certificates on Blockchain, based on the trees planted
4. Proportionally to the number of trees planted, access your eco-buildings in order to reduce the management costs of your company, thanks to our innovative energy mix.

What kind of TECHNOLOGIES will we introduce?
We plan to introduce:

What are the construction COSTS for an area of 60,000m2, according to the “Leaf” model?
According to our financial plan, construction costs will fluctuate, with tax relief, around 6 million euros.
* The cost of trees inherent in the planting of the area will be covered by SMEs, who intend to access the TreePark. In fact, this will be a fundamental requirement to be able to take advantage of all the advantages inherent in eco-buildings.
