Empowering countries to build sustainable infrastructures
Lack of transparency is considered one of the most prevalent problems in road infrastructure. We use Earth Observation data to offer governments and transparent companies third-party due diligence on road construction. By ensuring a low-cost high-quality control on new roads globally, we want to pave the way towards a future of sustainable transparent road infrastructure, reducing the need for short and medium-term maintenance.
We propose to use public lower-resolution Copernicus & Landsat data (10+ m resolution and > 5 day revisit) as well as paid higher-resolution satellite data (e.g. Planet, ICEYE, SkyWatch), based on our clients' needs.
Our project will enable green and sustainable investments in road infrastructures, ensuring transparent, higher quality road construction and reducing the need for costly maintenance. Higher quality, more durable, safer roads built in a transparent way lead to reduced emissions and decreased societal costs.
