Idea
PLOC! is a social media app designed to encourage people to step outside and explore the real world. The concept is simple: your friends post pictures that are geolocated, but you can’t see them right away. To unlock a photo, you have to physically go to the exact location where it was taken.
You’ll see that a photo exists somewhere nearby, but you won’t know which of your friends posted it until you reach the spot and the image is revealed. PLOC! turns social media into a real-life treasure hunt — blending curiosity, friendship, and adventure to make digital connections happen in the real world. It encourage local exploration and promote walking.
