💎 Idea

Our game “RoverLink” addresses the problem of low awareness of global challenges among teenagers. Young people often don’t understand how their actions affect the environment and society, even though they have access to information on their phones.
RoverLink allows players to experience climate change and social challenges firsthand — they explore realistic regions of the world, complete ecological and social missions, and make decisions whose consequences are immediately visible in the game world. This way, we teach responsibility, empathy, and collaboration while developing geographical and ecological knowledge.


🛰️ EU space technologies

We use data from Copernicus and the Sentinel satellite.

  • Copernicus provides information on terrain, vegetation cover, and ecosystem characteristics in each region.

  • Sentinel delivers high-resolution imagery and environmental monitoring data, helping us track changes in land use, forests, water bodies, and urban areas in real time.

Thanks to these data, every region in the game is a faithful representation of reality, and educational missions gain authenticity. Players not only explore the world but also learn from real, up-to-date satellite data, increasing engagement and educational value.


  EU Space for Consumer Experience

RoverLink primarily addresses the “Education & Learning” challenge, using satellite data to create engaging educational experiences.

  • Through exploration missions and interactive challenges, we teach teenagers geography, ecology, and culture, while showing the consequences of decisions in a realistic context.

  • This enhances player satisfaction and builds a sense of agency, making the experience both emotional and meaningful.
