Team:
Our team consists of four members. Patrik, our presenter and coder, is a very ambitious young programmer who is currently aiming to become a full-stack developer. Artem, our frontend developer, is also a full-stack developer with real-life experience, especially in developing fully functional ecosystems. Filip is our main backend developer, specializing in Java. Richard is also a backend developer, mainly focused on DevOps. We are all students of the Košice Academy of Software Development (Košická akadémia softvérového vývoja) in Košice, Slovakia.

Project:

We are developing a mobile application that is basically an upgraded version of a GPS. The key feature is that this GPS is designed for multiple users at the same time. You can create or join travel groups where you can see each other’s positions and routes in real time. The app also includes push notifications, so you don’t have to text someone while driving a car or motorcycle — just one or two taps, and that’s it. You will also be notified about bad weather conditions along your route due to quite precise satellite weather forecasts while traveling, and much more.

Basically, it combines three applications in one — a weather forecast, a messenger, and a GPS.

We are using Galileo GNSS for possition accuracy and also Copernicus data for weather forecast.
