Wayflare is a mobile adventure game that turns real-world movement into gameplay. Players explore their city to gather resources, build bases, and upgrade their characters — every real step strengthens their in-game progress. After the pandemic, physical activity dropped dramatically, especially among young people who spend more time indoors and online. Wayflare bridges the gap between gaming and movement, motivating players to go outside not through obligation, but through fun and progress.

Wayflare uses Mapbox geospatial data and mapping technology to bring the real world into the game. Mapbox provides detailed, real-time maps and environmental context, allowing resources, routes, and events to appear in meaningful, safe, and dynamic locations. This integration makes every player’s experience unique, connected to their actual surroundings, and continuously evolving based on live map data.
