AetherSense is a smart skiing system that uses augmented reality (AR) goggles and real-time environmental data to help athletes train smarter and safer. It solves the critical problem of athletes having to look down at their watches or phones for data, which breaks focus and is dangerous on the slopes. AetherSense projects key performance and safety metrics directly into the athlete's line of sight, while its AI engine adapts training cues based on live conditions like wind, slope, and visibility.
Key Capabilities:
- Smart AR Goggles: The hardware features a Heads-Up Display (HUD) that shows stats like speed, heart rate, and navigation without ever looking down. They include auto-heating to prevent fogging and are powered by the user's phone for all-day battery life. The "Space-
- Aware" AI Engine: This is the intelligent core. It fuses high-precision EU satellite data (like Copernicus DEM terrain mapping and Galileo positioning) with live weather. Adaptive Execution: It repositions and retimes audio/visual cues based on real-time slope, wind, and visibility. Context-Aware Analytics: It provides an "execution score" and post-session reports that account for the day's conditions, so you know if a slower time was due to fatigue or a sudden headwind.
