PACIFIC_TOURISM_EXPLORER_APP

The web application is a full stack app having a database for persistent storage and the user interface built with NextJS, a JavaScript frameworks for building seamless web applications. The functionalities of the app are  authorization/authentication, a secure stripe payment, booking and messaging system  and satellite integration from the European Union Data Ecosystem. This includes sentinel-1 SAR RADAR, sentinel-2 optical, NDVI, and sea surface temperatures(sentinel-3).

Flow of the app is the administrator is able to create tourist destinations which is then accessible to the tourist to be able to select from the various tourist destinations, tourist are able to send message to the admin, the hires car owners , the tourist destinations ,etc. Hotel and Hire car owners are able to create their services in their dashboard and be accessible to the tourists. Tourists are able to make payments, bookings and once a payment is made by a tourists, the app gets a 10% commission of the payment and the  destinations owners, hotel and hire cars are entitled to the 90% of the payment.

The app has chatbot that should respond to questions asked by general users.

To trial the app, there is a tourist1 account having password of tourist1 and and administrator account, anapitalai with a password of admin123.
