💎 Idea

The problem we are solving is the Traveler's Anxiety and Wasted Time associated with finding a clean, available public restroom, particularly in foreign, crowded, or remote locations. Current solutions rely on static maps or outdated user reports, often leading to long queues and unnecessary stress that detract from the travel experience.

The Orbital Relief System (ORS) solves this by transforming the urgent need for relief from a high-stress emergency into a smooth, predictable, and fast experience.


🛰️ EU space technologies

Galileo (High-Precision Positioning):

  • Data Used: The high-accuracy positioning signal (down to the centimeter level) is used to pinpoint the user's location and the exact entrance of the available Relief Point.

  • Value: It provides unparalleled reliability and low latency. This eliminates the "last-meter confusion" common with standard GPS, ensuring the user is guided precisely to the door, which is vital in high-stress, urgent situations.

Copernicus (Earth Observation & Data Services):

  • Information Used: Sentinel data, combined with Copernicus services like real-time traffic flow, localized crowd density mapping, and event monitoring.

  • Value: This data powers the core Prognosis and Relief Rating. By analyzing crowd movement and local conditions, Copernicus allows the app to predict queue lengths and occupancy, transforming the service from a static map into a dynamic, predictive tool.
