10% of the world's energy, 25% of the EU's, able to power 2 trillion homes - it is all about the nuclear energy.

Nine out of ten nuclear power plants rely on water as their core reactors' only coolant. When their water source becomes unusable - either because its temperature has risen too high or its water level has become too low - nuclear power plants are forced to shut down due to the innegligible risk of meltdown. To prevent cities or critical infrastructure from abruptly losing electricity source, our solutions come to help.

Atomic Solutions' software combines analysis of past data of the water source the nuclear power plant depends on together with up-to-date measurements made by the Copernicus  satellite system. Based on those our machine learning algorithm can make accurate predictions about the reliability of the water source and alert power plant operators in advance, so that they can decrease the plant's energy output or switch to other cooling systems, and do that timely, before it is critical and they are left no other choice. Energy providers can prepare for deficiencies beforehand and sign better contracts for energy purchasing.

🛰️ HOW WE USE EU SPACE TECHNOLOGY 🛰️

Our solution primarily relies on the capabilities of Sentinel-3 to measure temperature of the water, the level of the water source, its vapor rate and flowrate.
