The problem: 

The high cost of creating plans for emergency response, along with them being often outdated leads a lot of times the authorities unprepared in front of a natural disaster.

Our Solution:

We propose a risk assessment of evacuation of every location that will be frequently updated following the changes of our world. The Hiris platform can be used as a service to evaluate evacuation plans and scenarios, offering also the ability to localize high risk areas to take mitigation measurements in advance. 

Data:

Sentinel-2 images offers different bands and together with additional information derived such as land cover classification, NDVI, Moisture index, forest canopy and DEM will be used. In addition data about the population of the area will complete the set of data used.
