INTODUCTION
Critical infrastructures are the backbone of any country's economy and social well-being, which is why it is crucial to secure them against potential threats. The project aims to use satellite technology and blockchain to prevent infrastructure collapses caused by land micro movements over time.
To achieve this goal, we first need to identify the critical infrastructures of the country, such as highways, bridges, telecommunication buildings, and power plants.
CHALLENGES
•One of the biggest challenges in securing critical infrastructures is the missing accuracy of visual sampling. Traditional methods of monitoring infrastructure movements rely on visual inspections, which can be time-consuming and prone to human errors.
•Another challenge is the lack of transparency in duties and responsibilities. Different organizations and agencies may be responsible for different aspects of infrastructure maintenance and security, leading to confusion and inefficiencies.
SOLUTION
•The project proposes a solution that involves using satellite images to measure micromovements of critical infrastructures over time. By calculating the difference between the first and last data input, we can identify potential risks and take preventive measures before it's too late.
•To ensure the security and transparency of the data, we will store the information in a blockchain network. This will prevent cyber-attacks and provide a tamper-proof record of all activities related to critical infrastructure maintenance and security.
