Week Zer0 is a large-scale social experiment designed to prove that anyone can use DeFi on Polkadot in a simple, guided, and intuitive way without technical knowledge. For seven days, participants “turn off their bank” and complete real financial actions using only Polkadot’s DeFi ecosystem, through a safe, gamified, step-by-step experience.

Each day unlocks a practical mission, setting up a wallet, receiving funds, making a swap on Hydration, generating yield, using liquid staking with Bifrost, borrowing with Interlay, and transferring assets across chains via XCMP.This approach transforms learning into action, allowing users to understand DeFi by doing, not just reading.

The goal of Week Zer0 is to create the largest DeFi onboarding in Polkadot’s history, showing through real usage that the ecosystem is ready to solve everyday financial needs for everyday people.Through a campaign designed to scale, we aim to activate thousands of wallets, generate measurable on-chain activity, and position Polkadot as the most accessible, guided, and safe way for newcomers to start their DeFi journey.
