11:30 Introducing Azuro’s Liquidity Tree: A New Liquidity Pool Design for Specialized Prediction Markets

Dan Kaizer - CTO, Azuro DAO

Imagine if each swap on Uniswap took say 10 blocks, and LPs can put money after the swap has started — it would mean some LPs could cheat and realize gains without any impermanent loss!

These were tough problems to solve which required a proprietary solution. A new liquidity pool design, which we called the Liquidity Tree (or LT).

Azuro aims to allow any LPs to provide liquidity to the pool and get exposed to all betting markets happening on the protocol, thus reducing the risk for LPs dramatically and leading to a consistent APY. All the while utilizing all that money efficiently for seeding initial liquidity behind thousands of betting markets. More details about Azuro’s Liquidity Tree here

12:00 MachineFi

Simone Romano - Developers Community Growth - IoTeX

MachineFi is a new paradigm fueled by Web3 that underpins the new machine economy, whereby

machine resources and intelligence can be financialized to deliver value and ownership to the people.

This workshop will demonstrate how to design and deploy the fundamental  3 components of a MachineFi application, from verifiable real-world data to Web3 tokenomics:

1. Smart Devices / Machines that generate data.

2. An off-chain, Layer-2 compute network that verifies, stores and generates "Proofs" of real-world facts on top of the data.

3. An on-chain, Layer-1 set of contracts that manages authorizations and the token economy based on real-world facts.

MachineFi is revolutionary because it has the power to put users in control of the data generated by their devices. By extracting verifiable data from a machine you own, and then tokenizing that data, any user can benefit from the global machine economy.

IoTeX is the leading decentralized network powering the future of web3 and machine economy (MachineFi). The platform is built for developers to connect billions of machines with web3 infrastructure, to create innovative products including DeFi, NFT, DAO, Metaverse, and MachineFi applications. Founded in 2017 with a team of alumni from Google, Facebook, Uber, Bosch, and Intel, IoTeX has launched a high-performance public blockchain with off-chain computing for devices and machines, cross-chain bridges, wallet, and the MachineFi marketplace. The IoTeX network has grown rapidly with >$2B in assets on-chain, >300K on-chain users, and >10k devices connected across hundreds of dapps.
