Ricardo Amaro@rjmamaro

I'm a master in Informatics Engineering at the University of Coimbra, and currently working in software development in the Information Systems Lab, at the Instituto Pedro Nunes, Coimbra, mostly in the area of software architecture, design of processes and back-end development.

My main interest is software architecture, associated with the integration of systems and the design of processes. I've been working in these topics in the last 2 years, and I hope to get more knowledge in these areas.

Some of the projects I've worked on:

• A platform that integrates various SaaS services of the accommodation sector, making that integration available to the users through a single UI (Ruby on Rails);
• An alarmist system for the analysis and control of a fleet of fishing vessels (Java, Play Framework, RabbitMQ, Redis and Docker);
• A platform for submission of proposals for building projects (Python/Django and Docker);
• A platform for submission of papers for formatting and translation (Python/Django and Docker);
• A platform for subscriptions of smartphones prices, based in a message oriented architecture (Java - Jsoup, JMS; XML) (university assignment);
• A social network for meetings, with development of a client-server architecture with a fail-over solution, and a web-based architecture with integration of web-sockets (Java, RMI, Structs2, SQL, HTTP and Websockets) (university assignment).
