The winning team will receive exclusive passes to the Africa Tech Festival (Cape Town, 10–13 November 2025), one of the continent’s leading events for technology, innovation, and business.Notes:<ol><li>WiTH Africa will not cover any travel, accommodation, or other logistical expenses related to the winners’ attendance to Africa Tech FEstival; winners are responsible for securing these costs independently.</li><li>Tickets awarded as prizes are nominal and non-transferable, unless an explicit exception is granted by WiTH Africa.</li></ol>

About the challengeTourism is a key economic driver in Africa, with international arrivals in 2024 surpassing pre-pandemic levels and South Africa’s sector alone projected to support nearly 1.9 million jobs in 2025 (source: UN Tourism). EligibilityThis hackathon is open to anyone, with a special focus on students from universities in South Africa. Participants must form teams of 3-4 members.DurationThe hackathon lasts four days, and all hacking must be completed during the hackathon time. Communication with mentors will take place via Whatsapp.  Fair Competition Collaboration within teams is encouraged, but plagiarism or copying of other teams’ work is prohibited.
