🏆 The EUDIS Prize

Hackathon Weekend Winners: Each of the eight hackathon locations will select one winning team, resulting in a total of eight winners. These teams will be invited to participate in a 2-month EUDIS Mentoring Programme, receiving up to 40 hours of mentorship from international experts in defence and business innovation development.

EU-Wide Pitching Finals: Upon completing the mentoring programme, the eight winning teams will compete in an EU-wide pitching final. The top three teams from this competition will be invited to showcase their ideas, solutions, or prototypes at a prominent technology or defence event. The organisers will cover travel, accommodation, and event ticket costs for these teams.

  • Cash prize € 3.000,- 
  • Business Support 16 hours by SBIC 
  • Annual Basic Community Membership @ SBIC Noordwijk for each winning team member 
  • Pitch slot at: Space Campus Network & Drinks 
  • 8 hours of mentoring from TNO/NLR 


🥈 Runner up:

  • Cash prize € 1.000,- 
  • 4 hour of mentoring from TNO/NLR 


✅ Top 3:

  • Media exposure: Interview on the Groundstation.space platform, NL Space Campus, SBIC Noordwijk Newsletter, and further dissemination via media partners. 
  • Quick assessment of follow up opportunities: Drafting scenarios for further development of the hackathon results towards implementation and real projects. Assessment of additional cooperation partners, programs, funding, competitions, finance schemes, etc. 


🙌 All participants:

  • Invitation to demonstrate algorithms for review and potential publication on the SatInsight Tech hub portal of dotSPACE (algorithm marketplace (now open atlas)). 
  • Invitation to join the mailing lists of dotSPACE, NL Space Campus, SBIC and IQ, in order to receive updates about specific programmes, funding opportunities, applications, and events.
