This article is a compilation of the most Frequently Asked Questions regarding the $TKAI token and TAIKAI Garden mechanism. For complete information about its tokenomics, please refer to the $TKAI Tokenomics article.
You can earn $TKAI for actively participating in TAIKAI, i.e. participating in hackathons or being a mentor or jury. With TAIKAI Garden you can also earn $TKAI by curating projects or by staking your tokens.
$TKAI is an independent token of the Bepro Network ecosystem. However, both TAIKAI and Bepro Network are part of LayerX, so there might be a correlation between the two tokens that can be reflected in their economic value.
We have plans to list $TKAI in the near future. Please stay tuned for further updates and information.

The TKAI token has a total supply of 300 million tokens. Approximately 60% of the supply will be distributed as rewards, with 20% directed to hackathon participants and 40% allocated to the TAIKAI Garden use case. The remaining supply will be distributed to the team, advisors, equity partners, liquidity provision, and hacker external communities. The tokens will be vested over a period of 120 months to ensure long-term commitment.
If tokens are locked on the TAIKAI platform, users will receive TKAI tokens, which are the main utility token for TAIKAI.
If tokens are locked on Bepro Network, users will receive Bepro tokens. The two products and tokens are kept separate, but network effects will be built between.
$TKAI serves as the inherent utility token in the TAIKAI Garden and plays a crucial role in enabling PoCI. With the token, users can fully participate in the TAIKAI Garden, gaining not only a sense of ownership and engagement but also reaping the rewards from innovation and community building.
The product's user-friendly interface abstracts the crypto aspect, allowing clients to launch hackathons without needing to directly engage with crypto. However, they recognize the advantages of using tokens and understand the potential game-changing nature of the innovation landscape.
The TAIKAI Garden is a tokenized ecosystem that grants access to a community of innovators and stimulates participation therein through the use of $TKAI. The ecosystem is designed in order to align individual incentives with the goals of an entrepreneurial community with the token as its vehicle.
The TAIKAI Garden is an evolution of the original product, which already had some web3 features. The garden allows users to connect their web3 wallets, earn rewards in the form of cryptocurrency, and utilize various mechanisms within the garden using their wallet keys. The goal is to maintain a user-friendly interface while leveraging blockchain technology in the backend.
The Proof of Curated Innovation (PoCI) is the incentivization mechanism underlying TAIKAI Garden. The PoCI mechanism serves as a driving force to maximize the rate of successful development and deployment of relevant projects within the TAIKAI ecosystem.
The idea behind TAIKAI Garden, aims to increase the utility of the hackathon platform. The goal is to provide a space for individuals and projects to showcase their skills, connect with others, find mentors, and access funding and resources for their projects. The hope is to inspire a new generation of creators and democratize access to funding and tools.

TAIKAI employs a strict curation process to ensure high-quality and impactful projects are featured on the platform. They thoroughly vet each project submission, considering feasibility, relevance, potential impact, track record of project teams, and alignment with TAIKAI's mission and values. The goal is to foster innovation in areas relevant to the community, including blockchain, AI, and social impact.
The thought process behind creating a tokenized ecosystem within TAIKAI Garden was to address the challenge of founders and hackathon participants losing access to resources after short-term events. The token serves as a vehicle to capture the value that creators and founders bring to the platform. It can be used for locking, staking, creation, and curation. The aim is to decrease project costs, provide more access to resources, and build a highly curated and incentivized community.
