Hi,

I am Alexandre Jesus, and I am currently a PhD student at the University of Coimbra researching algorithms for multi-objective optimization. Previously I worked at Whitesmith, where I spent most of my day working on backend web development and a bit of devops.

I am passionate about optimization, data science, linux, open source and programming languages. Lately I have mostly been working with Rust and C++ for algorithm development and R for statistics, and I have previously worked with Python, Go and Ruby for various projects.
