Biography

I’m Cátia, a professional with a passion for innovation and creating technological solutions that make a difference. My academic background includes a degree in Materials Engineering, a Master’s in Bioenergy, and a specialization in Quality Management. Throughout my career, I’ve always sought to combine technical knowledge with a drive for sustainable and efficient solutions, especially in challenging work environments.

For over 20 years, I worked in a company specializing in the commercialization of equipment and services for fuel stations. I then decided to change paths and enter the world of software development, with a focus on OutSystems. Over the past two years, I have been working as a developer, applying my analytical skills and attention to detail to build effective, user-centered digital solutions.

Beyond my technical career, I have a strong connection to the creative world. For four years, I managed the movie theatre at my university, overseeing the selection of films and leading the advertising campaigns for all events. I also have a passion for drawing, particularly creating caricatures, a skill that helps me channel my creativity in a unique way. Recently, I performed in a couple of English theater productions, including Celebration by renowned playwright Harold Pinter, an experience that further enhanced my communication and teamwork skills.

I love collaborating with others and believe that a diversity of experiences enriches any project. In this Hackathon, I’m excited to apply my technical and creative skills to develop an innovative solution that will have a positive impact on both the team and society.
