I'm a developer at thoughtbot. Although I work a lot with Ruby and Elixir, deep down, I'm just happy I was born late enough to not be working with Visual Basic and soon enough to not be replaced with self-writing JavaScript.

I somehow went on to win the Pixels Camp Quiz Show two years ago. My ex-girlfriend told me I was a f*cking nerd who would never amount to anything. True but at least now I have something to prove it.

I had to carry Miguel Palhas (https://twitter.com/naps62) all the way since the qualifiers. Miguel is like a mentor to me in the sense that, everything he does, I go on and do it better. Suck it dude.

I love volunteering and try to give back to the community as much as possible. I used to be the champion of CoderDojo Braga and I am one of the founders of #include (https://github.com/includebraga) a volunteering movement that urges developers to make a direct positive impact in the local community through tech by helping charity and non-profit organisations.

I also love photography and believe every beautiful thing should be put in a frame.

That's why I keep refusing to take pictures of Miguel. ✋🎤
