I have a MSc in Space Physics and Technology, where my thesis work involved analysis of data from the ECOMA sounding rocket campaign.
After completing my initial studies, I worked with planetary science and analogue space missions. This included Mars analogue research at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where I used remote sensing data for traverse planning, as well as participation as Crew Scientist at the Mars Desert Research Station, contributing to simulated Moon and Mars missions and geological fieldwork.
In addition to this, I have experience from the energy sector through my work as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger, where I worked with technical operations, data acquisition, and problem-solving in field-based environments.
I have experience working as a project leader, with responsibility for planning, coordinating and deveoping projects.
Alongside my technical work, I have experience as a teacher in physics, science and mathematics at upper secondary level. In the recent year, I have been working as Managing Director of a volunteer-based organisation, where I am responsible for project development, funding applications, budgeting, reporting, and coordination of activities.
During my student years, I spent every vacation working at a Nickel refinery, where I operated forklifts, carried out welding tasks, and worked on maintenance and repair of anodes used in electrolysis.
I have lived and studied in different countries, and am used to working across disciplines and adapting to new environments. I grew up on a small farm in a large family, learned how to plant and harvest, and today I combine professional work with family life. I also have training in dance from Bårdar Academy.
