Graduated from University of Porto (FEUP) on 2015 as an electrical engineer, specialized in Power Systems. I did my masters thesis in EDF France on an Optimal Power dispatch software to optimize the renewable penetration on MicroGrids considering the impact of the transient dynamics on the economic power dispatch.
Right after my diploma, I entered a major renewable energy actor in France operating worldwide as an electrical engineer in Vergnet's Group electrical engineering department.
My company Vergnet SA is a French Wind Turbine manufacturer and an EPC company (engineering, procurement, construction) in turn-key projects with Wind Turbines plants, Solar plants, Storage plants (battery) and thermal-hybrid plants.
For the last years, I have worked on both project engineering as well as R&D projects. My position within the company has evolved from electrical engineer, electrical engineering manager, electrical and control systems manager to Engineering Manager for Vergnet SA Group as of today.
I manage a team of EPC Project and R&D engineers and technicians on several disciplines: electrical, automation, IT, mechanical, civil and hydraulics. The engineering teams provide services to several subsidiaries around the globe (Pacific, Caribbeans, Africa and Europe...) on business development (Tendering) and Operation & Maintenance support and intervention.
