I am an Ecologist and Environmental Scientist that has experience in studying large complex biological systems in simplified manner for effective ecosystem protection and resilience. I have several years of experience as a forestry advisor for the proper management of forests, water conservation and their protection against pollution and erosion. I have had experience with QGIS mapping and satellite data for land management and have created tailored probability map such as the mapping of sensitive habitats. 

I completed a MSc. in ecology studying the plant response to mycorrhizal fungi in the soil. I completed my BSc. at the University of Toronto in Biodiversity and Conservation biology offering skills in ecosystem management, environmental chemistry, atmospheric chemistry and intersectional influences of politics, cultures and humans on the environment. 

I am a creative and resilient person who enjoys working on teams to tackle problems that are complex and challenging. I have collaborated with several people to create conservation and awareness campaigns for the protection and research of under-documented and at-risk fungal species in Ontario, Canada. This skill, combined with my ability to speak english, french, and spanish will enable me to create partnerships across countries with the fishing industry.

With my experience I can advise on effective ecological processes for algae blooms and their effects on salmon fisheries and I am capable of forming partnerships with countries in the global south that also have major fisheries.
